A key attribute about MOSS Hair is that this 100% natural fiber omits a natural shine. The benefit of a natural shine allows you to better blend into the natural environment. For example, look into a wooded environment and you will see that most of the green plants, shrubs and trees omit a natural low luster shine, this is because of the microcrystalline green-plant pigment, also known as chlorophyl. Sunlight reflected from the leaves omit the shine. MOSS Hair provides the advantage of that natural shine resulting in a better blend within the area. Alternativly no-shine to the jute within a living environment can make you the only MAT-FLAT object in the area and you will stand out. This example shows why the single best form of camouflage is natural foilage, because it's alive, the unfortunate thing is it has to be changed often becuase once it starts to die it turn colors and you end up with ineffective camouflage.
Multipurpose Concealment System
The Ghillie blanket is 4 feet wide x 8 feet long. It is perfectly sized for covering up a person’s entire body. It can also be used to cover and conceal equipment or create a blind. As pictured above it can also be arranged into a poncho-cover system. MOSS Hairs are affixed to a nylon net base making the blanket fairly dense. Because of the fact MOSS Hair is so thin the blanket does not weigh much and be compressed into a small stuff sack for easy totting. The MOSS Hair blanket easily accommodates the use of natural foliage. Foliage can be stuffed or affixed to the inside base net or tied onto the MOSS strands.
The blanket can easily be cut in half to equal two 4-foot x 4-foot pieces for more specific applications.
