The 875 Series

The 875 is an affordable, full-service folding knife that is ideal for both utility and defensive purposes. Its stout stainless steel liners and high-strength plunge lock mechanism offer exceptional structural strength, while its contoured, 30% glass-filled nylon handle scales and wingwalk insert provide an extremely secure grip in all conditions. Its tapered handle shape not only provides exceptional ergonomics, it can serve as a potent impact weapon for pressure-point strikes and less-lethal defensive applications.

Available in three striking blade profiles – a Bowie-style clip point, a Japanese-style tanto, and a double-ground fighter – the 875 packs tremendous cutting power into a very compact package. All 875 blades are ground from .148-inch-thick high-carbon 154CM stainless steel, a high-performance American-made alloy originally developed for use in the turbine blades of jet engines. Expertly tempered and cryogenically treated to produce the ideal hardness of 60RC, 875 blades are then coated with Black Diamond-Like Coat (DLC) to give them superior wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and non-reflective qualities.

Manual versions of the 875 feature an ambidextrous thumb stud for rapid one-handed opening. Qualified buyers can also purchase all models in the 875 series in a spring-powered automatic version. Both versions feature a strategically positioned sliding secondary safety to prevent accidental operation of the lock release in the open position and unintentional firing of the automatic version. The plunge lock is among the strongest lock mechanisms available and enables the user to safely close manual versions of the knife with one hand, even while wearing gloves. , This lock also which serves double duty as the firing button on 875 automatics. To ensure immediate access, a spring-steel clip supports convenient carry in the pocket or waistband and is reversible for tip-up or tip-down orientation. For carry on the belt, a ballistic nylon belt pouch is available at no charge upon request.
